Max Dowman ready for Arsenal under-21s step up
Dowman continues to impress at under-18s level, making it look easy, even for someone at such a young age.
The academy starlet looks as though he is ready to make the transition to under-21s football at some point in the near future.
That comes with its own risks, given the main difference being the physicality levels that take a leap between the levels.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | 5 | 3 |
However, with some immense displays for the under-18s not just in the league, but in cup competitions too, he seems ready to be given more time at a higher level.
Dowman has made one appearance for the under-21s this season, featuring for just six minutes in a short cameo appearance.
At some point, he’ll need to take that step up, and Arsenal must back him to be the success they clearly think he can be.
Dowman has been backed by John Terry as a top prospect, showing just how far he could go.
