Arsenal fans were full of praise for Kai Havertz and his all-round play in the Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb.
The Gunners went into the game knowing a win would put them one step closer to earning automatic qualification for the round of 16.
While, on paper, Mikel Arteta and his team were the clear favourites, it has been far from a smooth preparation for the Champions League tie.
Injuries have blighted Arsenal, with Myles Lewis-Skelly the latest injury concern after missing out on the clash on Wednesday night.
Add to that some struggle for form, with Kai Havertz one of those who has found it tough in front of goal as of late.
It has been a difficult run for the German international, though he did manage to score in the clash against Aston Villa.
Arsenal fans have been left frustrated with Havertz lately though, something that may well change after another decent display.

Arsenal fans give verdict on Kai Havertz vs Dinamo Zagreb
Starting as the centre-forward once again, Havertz has been given the responsibility of scoring goals for Arsenal.
It wasn’t his finishing that brought in rave reviews though, but rather his set-up play that gained plenty of attention.
After some great, direct play from Gabriel Martinelli on the left, a cross from the winger found the feet of Havertz.
Rather than taking aim, the forward laid the ball off to Declan Rice, who smashed home an effort just inside the box.
Fans were left extremely impressed with the work of Havertz, taking to social media to U-turn their recent thoughts on the striker.
“Great run by nelli [Martinelli] great touch by Havertz and great finish. Needed that,” one supporter said.
Another added: “Kai Havertz. That is absolutely superb. Beautiful beautiful football.”
Others went on to add: “Brilliant lay off from Havertz a striker shoots though. Rice been in really good form recently.” with another adding: “Give Kai Havertz his credit for that assist. Brilliantly cushioned.”
The praise continued with: “All those negative people crying about Arteta. Havertz, and transfers don’t deserve to celebrate that goal.”
Along with: “This is why I will always believe in Havertz, his football IQ is simply so good.”
It’s plenty of praise for a player who needs to feel the love to play at his very best for the club over the past few years.

Kai Havertz display sparks striker debate
With Arsenal still on the lookout for a striker, the performance from Havertz may well spark some debate over his position in the squad.
That relates to both starting as a centre-forward, and whether another is needed, as well as his actual position on the pitch.
Havertz’s link-up play is impressive and often shows exactly why he is more of a number ten than he is a striker.
Playing next to another striker could help transform his fortunes, rather than shoving him out of the team.
