Why are Arsenal not on TV or live stream today?

Arsenal’s clash with Leicester won’t be available for broadcast in the UK, due to the 3pm blackout on football matches that is in place on Saturday fixtures.

Arsenal team and injury news

Mikel Arteta is set to be boosted by the return of Leandro Trossard from suspension after the forward served his red card suspension in the EFL Cup match against Bolton.

Many of the Arsenal players were rested in midweek, though David Raya is a new injury concern with a thigh problem.

If the Spaniard is out of action, then that could signal a first start for loanee Neto, who was cup-tied and couldn’t feature against Bolton.

Martin Odegaard, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney and Mikel Merino are all longer-term absentees from the squad.

Leicester City team and injury news

Steve Cooper has a relatively clean slate to work with when travelling to London over the weekend, with only a couple of injury concerns.

Jakub Stolarczyk and Patson Daka are expected to return later in the year with fitness concerns, while the rest of the squad will be available.

That includes Jamie Vardy, who was once linked with a sensational move to Arsenal, which he eventually turned down.
