Mikel Arteta has named his Arsenal team to take on Ipswich Town as they prepare for another game of Premier League action.

The Gunners have a chance to jump up to second in the division, following rivals Chelsea losing out against Fulham.

Add a recent win over Crystal Palace, and Arsenal could start to build some momentum in the race for the Premier League title.

Ipswich stand in their way, with the relegation battlers looking to pick up some important points in their race against the drop.

It’s far from an easy game for Mikel Arteta, not least with some injury concerns across the whole of his squad.

Arsenal team news vs Ipswich Town

The Arsenal squad have a whole host of different concerns to deal with heading into the match against Ipswich at the Emirates Stadium.

Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling are injured, with the pair set for a long spell on the sidelines through separate problems.

Add to that some long-term issues for Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu and it reduces the options available to Mikel Arteta.

With a debate over who could play on the right flank for the Gunners, the manager has finally made his decision with Gabriel Martinelli seemingly starting on that side.

Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus all make up the attacking options on the pitch, while Myles Lewis-Skelly gets another start at left-back.

There was a slight injury boost as Oleksandr Zinchenko returned to the squad, following an extended period out.

With some questions over how well Arsenal may cope with injuries to Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling, it will be time for the team to show how well they can perform.

Ipswich team news vs Arsenal

Kieran McKenna has named his Ipswich team to take on Arsenal, which includes some mixed new for the manager.

The manager is without midfielder Sam Morsy, with his club captain banned through picking up a fifth yellow card last time out.

Replacing him is Kalvin Phillips in midfield, while it appears as though Kieran McKenna has opted for five at the back.

Liam Delap returns to the team after his own yellow card suspension, while former academy star Omari Hutchinson starts, while Harry Clarke is on the bench for his return to face Arsenal again.
