Nathan Butler-Oyedeji sends message to Arsenal fans after Premier League debut, Myles Lewis-Skelly responds

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji is the latest Arsenal youngster to make his debut under Mikel Arteta, coming on against Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

It was a decent game to come on in. Arsenal players dominated Ipswich, with the Gunners absolutely cruising to their 18th victory in the Premier League this season.

Mikel Merino was quality, Martin Odegaard was inspired and youngster Ethan Nwaneri impressed with a goal. A succesful day out.

But whilst Nwaneri got the goal, it was an extremely special day for youngster Nathan Butler-Oyedeji. He made his Premier League debut against The Tractor Boys.

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji posts to Instagram on Premier League debut

Butler-Oyedeji commerorated the debut with an Instagram post. He wrote: ‘Blessed Sunday Premier League debut & three points. God is great.’

There were a sea of comments underneath, mostly consisting of Arsenal academy talent, but also now fellow Gunners first-teamer Myles Lewis-Skelly – who commented with a love heart.

Other commenters included the likes of Omari Hutchinson, Josh Nichols, Tyreece Campbell and many more who were all ecstatic to see Nathan make his England top-flight bout.

How did Nathan Butler-Oyedeji play on his Arsenal Premier League debut?

The forward only got a few minutes on the pitch, coming on in the 84th. That said – he still did make somewhat of an impact.

He managed a shot on target within the tightest of space – but that was literally it!

The youngster will surely have more chances in future to schowcase his talents. Butler-Oyedeji has been lighting up the academy, and the time to transition to the first-team frame is edging closer and closer.
