Erling Haaland could not escape being taunted by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners ran riot against Manchester City.
Arsenal beat Man City 5-1 at the Emirates to inform the Premier League that the title race is far from over.
Mikel Arteta’s side secured a statement win over their title rivals in front of a home crowd, earning revenge for the drama that unfolded at the Etihad back in September.
Erling Haaland famously taunted Arsenal players in Manchester during the 2-2 draw on match day five and at the Emirates, the Norweigan was served a taste of his own medicine.

Emirates Stadium change mocks Erling Haaland after Arsenal win over Man City
Haaland told Arteta to ‘stay humble’ at the Etihad earlier in the season, sparking tension between both sets of players.
After his comment, Gabriel Magalhaes sent a warning to Haaland and Man City ahead of their return to the Emirates, and for good reason.
Not only was the striker humiliated as his equaliser only stood for one minute but, the Arsenal DJ wanted to remind the City superstar of his words earlier in the campaign.
At full-time, the DJ at the Emirates played ‘Humble’ by Kendrick Lamar, paying homage to Haaland’s petulant words spat at Arteta after the 2-2 draw at the Etihad.
The Arsenal DJ wasn’t the only figure in N5 to taunt the Norweigan, as Gabriel also ensured he made his presence around the forward known.
After Martin Odegaard opened the scoring, Gabriel taunted Haaland by celebrating in front of the City player, continuing the rivalry between the two players.
It was a day to forget for Haaland, who after mocking Myles Lewis-Skelly at the Etihad, was informed of who the teenager was at the Emirates, as the Hale End graduate scored.
Lewis-Skelly rubbed salt into the wounds by copying Haaland’s celebration, on what was a miserable afternoon for the City striker.
Haaland was embarrassed by Arsenal in-play too
The Premier League marksman might think twice about mocking Arsenal after the humble pie he was served by Arteta’s squad.

It wasn’t only away from the action that Haaland was embarrassed, as aside from his goal, his in-game statistics portray a nightmare outing.
In his 90 minutes on the pitch, Haaland completed only two passes against Arsenal, as well as winning just one of his six duels.
Arsenal got the last laugh with a resounding victory over Man City, who left N5 as a shell of the side they’ve been over the years.
