Plenty of predictions have been flying in for whether Arsenal or PSG will book themselves a place in the final of this season’s Champions League.
A blockbuster semi-final is set to play out in the coming week, with the Gunners playing host at the Emirates Stadium before a return trip to the Parc des Princes to decide the winner.
With Arsenal’s defensive ability and attacking flair up against the hard-working press and forward quality of PSG, it’s a match that seems finely poised.
That much is shown in the predictions coming in before the match.
Fabio Capello predicted Arsenal to beat PSG, while Rio Ferdinand has backed PSG to knock Arsenal out of the competition.
The divide and uncertainty are shown further by Ally McCoist and Troy Deeney, with neither able to come to a consensus on which team will definitely run out as the winner.

Ally McCoist and Troy Deeney make Arsenal vs PSG prediction
Arsenal vs PSG is a clash that has plenty of excitement from both sides and the neutrals, with plenty of build-up for the tie showing just how well matched they are.
While Arsenal ran out 2-0 winners over PSG in the meeting earlier this season, the change in both sides may well even it out a bit.
For Ally McCoist, PSG are the favourites to go onto the final, stating on TalkSPORT: “I would probably have PSG as slight favourites, but any of the other three teams can win it.
“It’s funny, Troy [Deeney], I might be wrong, but I said it beforehand that Arsenal might be the one English team best suited to play PSG than Liverpool or Villa.”
Former Premier League striker Troy Deeney disagreed, though, as he said: “I actually make Arsenal favourites for this against PSG.
“It pains me to say, as you know, a household full of Arsenal fans. PSG are very good, that attacking front three is electric, they can do what they need to do.
“I think Arsenal’s back four can handle that, not without its problems, of course. I think Arsenal have a better midfield than PSG.
“I think the left-back for PSG, Mendes, is unbelievable, but could the way they go that way [attacking], are you going to leave Saka one-v-one on the opposite side or Martinelli on the opposite side?”
It pinpoints plenty of talking points surrounding the two teams, who will be looking to win those key battles mentioned to give themselves a chance.

Supercomputer prediction for Arsenal vs PSG
While plenty of pundits are split on their predictions, the supercomputer has swung the data in Arsenal’s favour.
For the clash at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg, the OPTA Analyst supercomputer has the Gunners as favourites to win.
The north London outfit has been given a 44.8% win probability, compared to PSG’s 29.4%.
While that suggests Arsenal are more likely to go through, it’s important to note that this is based on the first leg alone.
It remains to be seen whether Mikel Arteta can give his side the advantage they need heading into the second leg in Paris.
