Gabriel Jesus is stepping up his recovery from a knee injury, and new training footage has emerged, leaving Arsenal fans in agreement.

Jesus has been sidelined with an ACL injury since January against Manchester United in the FA Cup, but the Brazilian is now close to making his return.

Towards the end of last month, Jesus made his return to training, and the striker is now continuing to ramp up his return to action.

New footage has now emerged from London Colney, and it’s left the Gunners’ supporters all noticing the same thing about the 28-year-old.

Arsenal fans think Gabriel Jesus is starting to look ready for action

Arsenal fans believe that Gabriel Jesus is beginning to look ready to make his long-awaited return to action.

The striker was looking incredibly sharp in front of goal during Tuesday’s training session, with several impressive finishes.

However, Mikel Arteta will need to be cautious with bringing the Brazilian back into the fold, given the Brazilian international’s poor injury record.

Currently, Arsenal hope Jesus will return to action in December, which will be a much-welcome boost for the squad.

That is because Viktor Gyokeres remains a doubt for the North London derby, and Kai Havertz has just suffered a setback in his return.

Jesus almost certainly won’t be ready to play against Spurs, but Arsenal fans are excited to see him looking strong in training.

One fan said: “This new knee might have come with being prolific in front of goal.”

“Start him on Sunday. I’ve seen enough,” another claimed.

There was yet more excitement about the latest footage from Arsenal training: “He’s ready, please let him be on the bench and come on at second half against Spurs.”

Finally, another added: “Gabriel Jesus was back in Arsenal training today, and he’s already looking sharp in his recovery.”

Arsenal are ready to cash in on Gabriel Jesus in January

However, despite his impressive form in training, Arsenal are prepared to cash in on Jesus in January, according to the Daily Mail.

Should a sensible offer arrive for the Brazilian during the winter window, the Gunners would strongly consider selling him.

Currently, the North London club have plans to offload him next summer, but that could potentially change in January.

There is also the fact that Jesus could well return from his latest injury and smash it for Arteta’s team, forcing them to reconsider their decision.
