Arsenal fans must avoid placing the same level of scrutiny on David Raya as they have with Kai Havertz in his first months at the club.
That’s off the back of Raya receiving jeers at the Emirates on Sunday when he had a shaky start with his passing.

In fact, it was actually Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard who asked fans to start supporting their new goalkeeper instead.
Odegaard was seen gesturing towards the fans with his hands telling them to settle down.
Of course, the Spaniard did then start to improve as the game went on.
Much like Havertz has endured because of his price tag and him moving from a rival, Raya’s early performances have been under the microscope.
Given he’s replaced Aaron Ramsdale almost immediately, fans want to see why he’s an obvious upgrade.
It’s nothing against £27m Raya, but Ramsdale was a fan favourite.
And Arsenal fans need to remember the amount of pressure Raya is under during these early days.
He’s clearly a talented keeper, but this is also a massive step up for him from the expectations at Brentford.
Neither Raya or Havertz deserve their early performances to be scrutinised at Arsenal
Although it’s Raya facing a lot of reaction to his performances right now, it was Havertz just a few weeks before.
Havertz has already proved to be a polarising figure in his short stint at Arsenal.

And his treatment may remind some of the days of Mesut Ozil – another player who divided fans.
Although, almost everyone of an Arsenal persuasion will surely be very happy to see Havertz play a key role in the win over Manchester City.
Along with Declan Rice, Raya and Havertz should both prove to be superb signings once they’ve had time to adapt at Arsenal.
Ben White needed time to adapt seasons ago, and he is now flourishing at the club.
