Arsenal defender Ayden Heaven has been busy deciding his future.

The talented 18-year-old has been in Arsenal’s Academy since 2019. He is an excellent player and has even been handed a first-team opportunity by Mikel Arteta this season.

Arsenal Insider exclusively revealed in December that Heaven could leave Arsenal after rejecting two contract offers from the club.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Manchester United are in contact to sign Heaven, and the youngster was even spotted at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

Manchester United have already signed Chido Obi-Martin from the Gunners, and it will be painful to see them land another talented Arsenal youngster.

Since the news came out, Arsenal fans have been urging Heaven to stay and have given examples of how leaving the club has not worked out for other players.

Omari Hutchinson, Amario Cozier-Duberry, Reuell Walters and Obi-Martin are a few youngsters who rejected Arsenal’s offers and left them for other clubs.

Hutchinson is the only one playing Premier League football at the moment.

Arsenal fans have used that as an example and have urged Heaven to stay at the Emirates instead of moving to Manchester United.

One Arsenal fan tweeted: “Don’t make the same mistake Chido made.”

Another wrote: “This league doesn’t have better coaches than Pep and Mikel. Leaving them is the biggest mistake a young player can commit.”

Ayden Heaven would do well to sign a contract with Arsenal and ask to go out on loan. Those who left Arsenal are not necessarily in the best space in their career afterwards,” said another.

Another Gooner tweeted: “These boys are always in rush mode. They don’t know that growth can’t be rushed. Low-key, they will definitely regret their decisions when they see Ethan, Lewis-Skelly, and others shining in the same club they left due to their impatience.”

Two European clubs want to sign Heaven

Heaven is a big prospect, and it is no surprise that many clubs are interested in him.

Arsenal Insider revealed in December that Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all keeping tabs on Heaven’s situation at Arsenal.

The youngster is not short of interest from abroad either.

Romano revealed that the 18-year-old has received approaches from Barcelona and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

Heaven was actually at Eintracht’s Stadium recently, where the club’s CEO confirmed that he would like to sign the youngster from Arsenal.
