Arsenal’s season is on the line as the Gunners prepare for the Champions League semi-final second leg.
Paris Saint-Germain beat Arsenal 1-0 in the first leg to take a one-goal lead back to the Parc des Princes.
Mikel Arteta is under pressure to turn things around in Paris, as the Gunners continue to combat poor form in the Premier League.
There are already doubts in the Arsenal squad as it’s thought that Jurrien Timber could miss the second leg, setting the tie up to be one of resounding difficulty for the North Londoners.

French media share Ousmane Dembele injury update ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Paris
Though Arsenal will be sweating on Timber’s fitness, the defender isn’t the only one, as Martin Odegaard is a doubt for PSG.
To Arteta’s relief, it’s not only the Gunners who are battling a race against time to have key players fit for the second leg.
Star of the first leg, Ousmane Dembele, picked up an injury at the Emirates and hasn’t featured since, something that those in N5 have been keeping a close eye on.
An injury expert shared their doubts over Dembele’s fitness ahead of the second leg, but now, French media have shared a fresh update.
L’Equipe report that Dembele is ‘most likely fit’ to face Arsenal, stating that PSG expect the Frenchman to report to training on Monday, ahead of Wednesday night’s showdown.
It’s claimed that the chances of the former Barcelona ace returning to face the Gunners are ‘looking increasingly high’, giving Arteta food for thought ahead of selecting his XI.
Though Dembele was the protagonist in the first leg, the 27-year-old isn’t the only injury doubt for PSG, as fellow forward Kang-in Lee suffered an injury during the Parisiens’ defeat to Strasbourg.
Arsenal won’t want to see Dembele again
The Gunners are aware of Lee’s threat, having been linked to the Korean during the winter transfer window.
That being said, if there’s one player Arsenal could erase from PSG’s XI, it would be Dembele, given the threat the France international posed at the Emirates.
Dembele scored in impressive fashion to ensure the first leg of the tie was won, and also caused chaos in and around the box against Arsenal, linking well with those around him.
It remains to be seen whether the World Cup winner will be fit to feature in the second leg, with mixed reviews coming from France regarding PSG’s star player.
