Four Arsenal players were missing from training, including Max Dowman, ahead of the Gunners’ Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

Dowman was part of Arsenal’s match-day squad for the North London derby over the weekend, but ahead of facing Bayern, the teenager was missing.

Andrea Berta is working on a new Arsenal contract for Dowman, as revealed by Arsenal Insider, with the North London club keen to secure his long-term future.

Against Slavia Prague, Dowman became the youngest player to ever feature in the Champions League, but now looks set to miss the arrival of the German giants.

Max Dowman, Gabriel Magalhaes, Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres miss Arsenal training

The quartet of missing Arsenal players were Max Dowman, Gabriel Magalhaes, Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres ahead of Bayern Munich, as per Tom Canton.

Gyokeres is another blow for the Gunners as the striker seems unlikely to be fit in time to face Bayern in the Champions League.

Following a hamstring injury at Burnley, Gyokeres has been missing for Arsenal, despite hopes he could return against Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Havertz is set to be out until the New Year after suffering a setback in his recovery from a knee injury.

The German international has been sidelined since the first game of the season and will not play for the Gunners again in 2025.

Gabriel could be out for a few weeks with a groin injury he suffered with Brazil; however, Piero Hincapie looks ready to step up during his absence.

Jesus could also make his return in the coming weeks, which will be a major boost with both Havertz and Gyokeres missing.
