Martin Odegaard hopes to return from injury ‘soon’ for Arsenal
Martin Odegaard is hopeful of returning from a knee injury ‘soon’ to be back available for both Arsenal and Norway.
Back in October, Odegaard suffered an MCL injury and has had to watch the Gunners in action from the sidelines.
During that eight-match run, Arsenal have gone undefeated in all competitions, winning seven and drawing once.
When asked about his injury, Odegaard told TV2: “It’s moving forward. The match today came a little too early… But it’s starting to look better, so hopefully I’ll be back soon.”

Arsenal have a long injury list right now, with Viktor Gyokeres, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Noni Madueke all out.
Meanwhile, joining them is Gabriel Magalhaes, who has suffered a groin injury during Brazil’s 2-0 win over Senegal at the Emirates Stadium.
Elsewhere, Arsenal expect Riccardo Calafiori to be back fit this week, having returned from international duty with Italy due to a hip issue.
Martin Odegaard becomes the first Norwegian captain to qualify for the World Cup since 1998
Odegaard has just become the first Norwegian captain to qualify for the World Cup since 1998 after the team thrashed Italy 4-1.
The Nordic side ran riot at the San Siro as two goals from Antonio Nusa, Jorgen Strand Larsen, and a brace from Erling Haaland secured the win.
Norway have shown so much promise over recent years, but have failed to qualify for a major tournament since Euro 2000.
The Gunners’ captain wasn’t even born the last time his nation reached the finals of a World Cup, but now, he will lead the team to North America next summer.
