Expert predicts Gabriel Martinelli injury
Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli is the latest injury concern for the side after suffering a hamstring problem against Newcastle in midweek.
The Brazilian faces scans to figure out the full extent of his injury worries, with over a week until the team are back in action.
Taking to X, expert Physio Scout gave an update on Martinelli, claiming: “It looked like he aggravated it while sprinting into the box. He was seen clutching his upper hamstring, which is usually associated with a longer recovery.
“Scans will be needed to determine the severity of the injury. Let’s hope it’s just hamstring tightness.”
It could see Martinelli back in action soon, though it remains to be seen how deep the issue is.
