Conor McGregor is the biggest name in combat sports, but the UFC star has been making headlines in the football world for what he did to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.
The Gunners are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Arsenal have several celebrity fans across the globe and many are often spotted at the Emirates Stadium.
McGregor isn’t really an Arsenal fan, but he attended the Gunners’ home game against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on the first day of October.
Declan Rice and Saka met McGregor on the pitch after the game, but the former UFC champion got a little too physical with the latter, and that didn’t go down well among the Arsenal hierarchy.

It’s not uncommon to see celebrities invited onto the pitch to meet a few players after the game.
When McGregor got that opportunity at the Emirates Stadium, everyone expected it to be a little meet and greet with a couple of Arsenal players and that he would be escorted out soon after.
However, the UFC star did something else.
McGregor was having what seemed to be a friendly spar with Saka on the pitch, and videos showed that the Arsenal star was in danger of getting hurt.
Arsenal fans were not happy with McGregor and rightly so – incidents that endanger a player’s safety should not occur.
Saka had remained quiet about the incident until now, but the Gunners star took to Instagram Story on Tuesday night to break his silence.
“Good to meet you,” he wrote while tagging Mcgregor. Saka then added: “No harm done, just a friendly spar'”

It won’t be a surprise to anyone to know that Arsenal were not happy with how McGregor behaved when he met Saka at the Emirates.
The last thing the Gunners need is to see Saka get hurt at the hands of a professional fighter.
To make sure nothing like this will ever happen again, Arsenal are considering a major rule change that will ban players from interacting with corporate guests in the ground after games.
That’s a bit sad for most other celebrities who are on their best behaviour, but the safety of the players comes first and Arsenal are right to implement this change.
We don’t expect to see McGregor anywhere near the Emirates Stadium anytime soon.
