So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours.
Arsenal interested in signing Giovanni Leoni
After missing out on Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen, who opted to join Real Madrid, Arsenal are now eyeing alternatives to the Spaniard.
According to Football Transfers, the Gunners have identified Parma centre-back Giovanni Leoni as a potential option, and they’ve leapfrogged Manchester United in the race to sign the 18-year-old.
Leoni impressed in his breakout campaign in Serie A, and this form has unsurprisingly sparked interest from Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus.

However, it’s believed Arsenal are best placed to land the starlet due to their financial superiority over the other three potential suitors.

Barcelona expected to sign Joan Garcia
It’s well documented that Arsenal tried to sign Joan Garcia last summer as a replacement for Aaron Ramsdale as David Raya’s deputy.
The Gunners returned for the Espanyol shot-stopper this summer, but his stock his risen significantly after an excellent season, and he’s no longer willing to accept a back-up role.
Garcia has now instead reached an agreement with Barcelona, and he’s expected to complete a switch to the Catalan giants.

Berta will subsequently have to source a Raya understudy from elsewhere.

Arsenal have scouted Kenan Yildiz
Aside from signing a prolific striker this summer, Arsenal’s main priority is adding a dynamic winger to Mikel Arteta’s ranks.
Numerous wide forward have been linked with Arsenal, including Nico Williams and Rodrygo, and another name has emerged as an option in recent days.
Arsenal have ‘extensively scouted’ Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, with Arteta an admirer of the Turkey international’s versatility.

However, the Old Lady are unwilling to sanction Yildiz’s departure for anything less than £68 million.
