Ben White says Bukayo Saka has a ‘special’ trait that makes him really stand out in training

When assessing the standouts in Arsenal training, Ben White looked no further than Bukayo Saka’s ability to hit top level without much thought.

White’s injury has come at a frustrating time, as the Gunners could do with a helping hand at right-back.

There’s hope that the Englishman will return to training soon, and when he does, he’ll get back to admiring Saka.

There are several particularly impressive trainers in the Arsenal squad, and according to White, Saka is one of them for a unique reason.

Ben White explains why Bukayo Saka is a standout in Arsenal’s training sessions

White recently took part in an interview with Stan Sport Football, in which he was asked who, in his eyes, is a standout trainer.

“It’s probably Bukayo,” the Arsenal defender replied.

Interviewer Nicholas Stavropoulos then asked, “Is he just a hard worker, or is it the skill that he produces?”

White elaborated on what makes Saka one to watch in training, calling his teammate ‘special’.

“I think he can just turn on in a moment to do anything he wants, really, so depends.

“It doesn’t matter who he’s playing against or what the situation is. It’s if he wants to do it, then he’s doing it. So that’s special.”

The idea of coming up against Saka in training is a daunting one for you and me, but putting White’s opinion aside, there’s another contender for the best of the bunch at Colney.

Bukayo Saka stands out, but Christian Norgaard might be Arsenal’s best trainer

White nominated Saka for his ability to switch things up, but based on what has been reported from the Sobha Realty Training Centre, the most influential trainer points more to Christian Norgaard.

Norgaard’s influence behind the scenes has been spoken about by his teammates, with Leandro Trossard saying that the midfielder ‘always wants to set a higher standard’.

Do you think Christian Norgaard could challenge Martin Zubimendi as a starter at Arsenal?

To support Trossard’s claims, The Sun recently reported that the last to leave training are Norgaard and Eberechi Eze.

While Saka stands out for his dangerous ways in training, there’s an argument to be had about whether Norgaard beats him to the crown of the best at Colney.
