Arsenal’s Brazilians will love what Selecao boss Carlo Ancelotti just said about the Gunners.

Gabriel Magalhaes has become one of Brazil’s most important players, with Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus pushing to make the World Cup squad.

The World Cup is fast approaching, but the minds of Arsenal’s Brazilians are firmly on winning silverware this season.

Many fancy Arsenal to win the Premier League, with some also having faith in what the Champions League could deliver.

Ancelotti is the latest to have his say, predicting who the Premier League and Champions League winners will be.

Carlo Ancelotti thinks Arsenal will win the Premier League

Arsenal rocked Ancelotti’s Real Madrid last season, winning 5-1 over two legs in the Champions League quarter-finals.

It’s therefore no surprise that the Italian coach believes the Gunners will win the Premier League title in May.

Speaking to Ally McCoist in a clip for TNT Sports’ TikTok channel, Ancelotti backed Arsenal to go all the way at long last.

“You fancy Arsenal?” McCoist asked after Ancelotti chose Mikel Arteta’s side.

“I think Arsenal started really well, they built a fantastic team, a really solid team,” the Brazil national team coach replied.

Ancelotti then revealed that he’s a fan of Arsenal, but not in a way that loyal supporters can relate to.

“Of course, I am a supporter of Arsenal because I have Gabriel, but I am a supporter of Tottenham too because we have Richarlison, I support United, I support the Brazilian players.”

Given that Gabriel has a feud with Richarlison, he’ll love that his national team boss is backing Arsenal to win the title ahead of anyone else.

After Arsenal’s defeat to Aston Villa, Opta updated their predicted table, giving the Gunners a 72.28% chance of winning the title.

It’s projected that Arsenal will win the league by eight points, with Manchester City’s chances sitting at 18.77%, followed by Villa’s with 5.99% and then Chelsea with a 1.02% of winning the title.

The numbers look good, but the job has only just begun.
