Arsenal head to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon as the Gunners prepare to face Manchester United.
The eyes of the Premier League will be on Old Trafford on match day 28 as Arsenal and Man United go head to head.
It will be the second time in 2025 that the two sides will meet, with Ruben Amorim hoping for the same result as the one that came in January.
Man United knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup after a spineless attacking performance at the Emirates, giving Mikel Arteta additional incentive to get three points on the road.

Chido Obi set to be fresh to face Arsenal
Aside from the fierce rivalry and the history of Arsenal’s visits to Old Trafford, there’s another narrative simmering ahead of the fixture.
Two former Arsenal talents could be named in the United squad to face the Gunners, with Ayden Heaven and Chido Obi enjoying time around the first-team squad since trading Hale End for Amorim’s project.
Obi has earned Premier League minutes this term, making the striker one to watch if he is to face his former club during Sunday’s clash.
Though Amorim is easing the 17-year-old into life at senior level, there is a chance that the teen could feature against Arsenal for one key reason.
Speaking to the media ahead of United’s Europa League meeting with Real Sociedad, Amorim explained why Obi will not feature in the mid-week game.
The Danish forward was not registered with UEFA in February, with the United boss admitting that things were ‘completely different’ at the time.
“It’s a different context in that moment, Rasmus Hojlund and Josh Zirkzee were playing in the same position, so we try to manage all the things, even the expectations of the kids.
“So it was that. The context was completely different and we chose different players.”
While the remainder of United’s first-team squad will battle for a win in the Basque country and then travel back promptly in time for Sunday, Obi will remain rested and possibly ready to threaten his former club.
Chido Obi’s scoring record since leaving Arsenal
Though the 17-year-old has not yet scored at senior level, Obi’s influence at United is growing, as seen during his FA Cup cameo against Fulham.
The teenager missed three chances to score but, was in the position to obtain the trio of opportunities, telling of his ability to cause problems at Premier League level.
| Apps | Goals | Assists | |
| 2023/24 | 24 | 32 | 3 |
| 2024/25 | 12 | 12 | 2 |
On the goalscoring front, not much has changed for the Dane since leaving Arsenal, where after a remarkable scoring season in 2023/24, he joined United’s academy.
The only change is that the clinical rising star is playing less at youth level, becoming a valued member of Amorim’s first team.
Will Obi come back to haunt Arsenal? Old Trafford will find out on Sunday when the two clubs meet.
