Eberechi Eze has been full of praise for Mikel Arteta and has been discussing exactly what it is like to work under the Arsenal manager.

Eze joined Arsenal for £68 million last summer, and whilst we are yet to see the best of the England international, he is confident that it will soon change.

During his first 17 appearances for the Gunners, the winger has two goals and three assists, which he will be hoping to add to against Tottenham in the North London derby this Sunday.

Now, Eze has been talking to Adebayo Akinfenwa about his first three months in N5 and has been detailing his time working under Mikel Arteta so far.

Eberechi Eze explains why he loves working under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal

Eberechi Eze claims that every day Arteta is ‘driven, focused and relentless’ at Arsenal, which has really impressed him.

Following a mixed start, Eze has promised Arsenal fans he will keep improving over time, and under the Spanish manager, he is very confident that will happen.

The Arsenal boss appears to have made a quick impression on the former Crystal Palace star, who has explained what makes him such a top coach.

Speaking about his new manager, Eze told Beast Mode On: “Yeah, he’s incredible. Incredible attention to detail, how much I’m learning so fast, the type of player I can see that I’ll become in this environment, in the culture that he’s created. Yeah, special.

“It’s a special place to be right now, for sure. He’s a special, special guy. You can see that he’s driven, focused and relentless every day. Every day. Every day. He knows what it takes.

“For me, he’s the perfect type of manager to work under, and I can see him getting the best out of me for sure.”

To unlock the best version of him, Arsenal fans want to see Eze play left wing, where he recently impressed for England.

The 27-year-old has been featuring in a right-sided central midfield role, but this should soon change when Martin Odegaard returns.

Eberchi Eze admits the Champions League anthem caught him off guard

Eze has admitted that the first time he heard the Champions League music as a player, it caught him off guard.

“The first time I heard the music, I’ll be real, I wasn’t focused. I was so disappointed in myself. Halfway through the song, I said, ‘Oh my days it’s playing’,” Eze claimed.

“I was too in the moment. Which is a good thing. But first time around, I didn’t really deep it. Second game, I didn’t start. So I was able to actually take in the music, and I said, ‘Okay, this is it’.

“But I feel like now it’s crazy because these are things that you dream of, and then you get to a point where it’s like, okay, but what does it mean? I’m here, I’m here to work. I’m here to do business.”
