Arsenal duo Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have both named the same player as the most skilful footballer in the Gunners squad.
Arsenal have built a wonderful squad full of world-class players in every position, making them among the favourites to win several trophies this season.
Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly are among the players who Arsenal fans are the most excited to see this season, considering their talent at such an early age.
However, both players say one of Arsenal’s more established players is the one who dazzles his teammates in training.

Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly say Gabriel Jesus is Arsenal’s most skilful player
Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly both took part in Sky Sports’ feature Football Friends, which tests how well two teammates know each other.
When asked who they think is the most skilful player in the Arsenal squad, both went for Gabriel Jesus.
Thomlinson asked the Arsenal duo why they picked Jesus, and Nwaneri said: “He’s just so sharp and skilful. He’s just got that Brazilian flair.”
Lewis-Skelly echoed his teammate’s sentiments, saying: “Yeah, Brazilian flair, man.”

When Gabriel Jesus is expected back in action for Arsenal
Jesus has sadly been out of action since the start of 2025, when he picked up a serious knee injury in the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United.
However, the £45million man posted a very positive update earlier in August, in which he shared a video of himself training on the grass for the first time in months.
The caption read: “It’s been seven months of pain, uncertainty, and anxiety. Today, I finally feel light – like a child playing football again. GOD IS GREAT.”
As per football.london, a return date of October has previously been mooted for Jesus.
There have been reports claiming Andrea Berta was looking to sell Jesus this summer, but it’s unlikely that a move could be completed until he’s back to full fitness.
