After a change in the transfer window rules, there is a new deadline to be aware of for Arsenal and when they can register players.
This summer is an important one for the Gunners, who are aiming to make some key signings to take them to the next level.
As it stands, Arsenal are yet to make any additions to the team, while the retained list for 2025 has been released with several exits.
On top of that are some other moves away, as Nuno Tavares joins Lazio permanently and Marquinhos moves to Cruzeiro.
While it is just the start of the business for Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta, there is an early transfer deadline for them to be wary of.

Why does the summer transfer window close early?
The summer transfer window rules have changed for this summer, with FIFA making an exception to the usual rules.
Instead of there being one window, there are two as the registration period is split due to the Club World Cup.
The first transfer window spans June 1 until June 10, offering clubs a chance to get their deals in early and register their key players for the tournament.
It will then be closed again, but it won’t stop clubs from getting their transfer dealings underway anyway.
When does the summer transfer window open again?
The summer transfer window opens once again on June 16, just six days after the original market closes.
Once there, the window will continue for clubs all the way until September 1, allowing them time to get their transfer business completed.

How does the summer transfer window opening and closing impact Arsenal?
Due to the fact that Arsenal aren’t competing in the Club World Cup, there is no direct impact on the Gunners when it comes to the transfer window opening and closing again.
There is no rush for the club to register the players they want, however, it could have a knock-on effect on their business from the sides that do need to land some targets.
Chelsea’s move for Jamie Gittens has accelerated with their involvement in the competition, potentially harming Arsenal’s chances.
Meanwhile, Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko is of interest to Al-Hillal, who would need to get the move sorted quickly to register him in time.
As for the other deals, the Gunners have plenty of time to get them sorted.
