Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has revealed that he regrets the way he spoke about Arsenal before the match between the two rivals on Wednesday evening.
It came after a game of two very different halves played out at the Emirates Stadium, which brought a mix of reactions.
The first half saw Arsenal blocked out by Man United, with the Gunners unable to break down a stubborn visiting defence.
The second half saw a bit more licence and freedom from the home side, who finally bulldozed their way past the Red Devils through two set-pieces.
It meant that Arsenal beat Man United 2-0, earning a huge three points towards their Premier League title charge.

Ruben Amorim on Arsenal regret from Man United pre-match
The match was the first real tough test Amorim as Man United boss, who was previously unbeaten with two wins and one draw at the club.
The manager was no stranger to the challenge ahead, warning his side of the “storm” coming from Arsenal, as well as games against Manchester City and Liverpool up ahead.

Amorim also seemed to suggest he team would be found out while they learn the new system, a phrase he seemingly regrets.
Speaking to the press after the match, he said: “I have to be careful what I say!
“If you follow football you understand this moment, what can happen in this moment. And then when I came from Sporting, I live the same situation.
“It’s a big club and you know everything is okay when you lose one game. Everything is not okay. I’m expecting that.
“Sometimes I’m too strong with words! Sometimes you have bad moments when you are changing so many things in order to improve.”
It’s a clear sense of regret from the manager, who may be cursing his side’s defensive ability from those set-pieces.
Gary Neville was critical of Arsenal’s set-pieces, clearly frustrated at how his side ended up losing the game.

Mikel Arteta on Arsenal’s Premier League title chances
With Liverpool dropping points on Wednesday night, the gap at the top of the table has reduced to seven points.
It puts Arsenal that little bit closer after a huge win of their own, though it’s something Mikel Arteta isn’t focusing too much on.
Speaking to the media after the game about title chances, he said: “We don’t think about half-time how we are. We try to look at our own business, try to perform the way we are doing at the moment and find ways to win the game.
“I think the team deserved the win today which is very good. What the opposition does we cannot control. You can see week in, week out how good the oppositions are; it’s difficult for everybody.”
Arsenal face off against Fulham on Sunday in hopes of landing another huge three points, while Liverpool have Everton on Saturday in the Merseyside derby.
