Arsenal fans got a glimpse of their new striker Viktor Gyokeres during the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Gyokeres was frustrated against Tottenham as he saw very little action after coming on with just 13 minutes left on the clock.
Arsenal were pushing for an equaliser, which meant their North London rivals were sitting very deep and denied Gyokeres any space to get in behind.
It will take the Swede time to adapt to his new teammates and Premier League football but he has already won over club legend Ian Wright with his actions so far.

Ian Wright applauds Viktor Gyokeres’ attitude at Arsenal
Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta had a difficult decision to make when it came to choosing which striker to pursue this summer.
The Gunners held interest in Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins alongside Gyokeres, but it was the Swede that won the race.
Whilst former striker Wright has warned that it may take time for Gyokeres to really hit his stride at the club, he has been impressed by his attitude and desire to play for the club so far.
Wright stated: “What I heard from Gyokeres, and I love what I heard from Gyokeres, that man wants to be there and I know that once I get in amongst these guys, and they’re creating chances I will take them.
“If Gyokeres is scoring in pre-season, and then if he doesn’t score for the first two games of the season it’s going to come. With Gyokeres, I can see the mentality, he can’t wait, he knows what he’s going into.
“He has competition with Kai, and that’s important. He has done everything to get there, his agent took a cut, if it happens for him, brilliant, look at strikers, Hojlund, Nunez, you have to take the chance.
“The only thing you can look at is his attitude towards where he’s going and what he’s trying to do and I like it. I like what I see from him so I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt.”
Ian Wright compares his Arsenal career to that of Viktor Gyokeres
Wright signed for Arsenal from Crystal Palace in 1991 with the Gunners having just won the league title and the striker was relatively unproven at the top level.
Gyokeres has moved to North London with no experience in the Premier League, but speaking on the same interview, Wright believes that just makes the Swede even more hungrier for success.
Wright explained: “Do you know something? I spent four years at Palace scoring goals in the Championship. A lot of teams were looking at the time.
“There was a lot of talk around me, and then we had that season in the First Division where I scored 20 and then Arsenal came. Everyone knows my link with David Rocastle, I remember signing and I was on the news, and people were saying ‘we have Merson, we have Smith, why are we signing him?’

“I was petrified, when I went there they were champions two of the last three years, the levels, it was another level. It’s the same thing with Gyokeres.
“I remember Mark Robins saying at Coventry that every time he trained he looked like someone in a rush or in a hurry, and I get that, once I got to Arsenal I was in the place where I could make up time.”
Wright wants Arsenal to sign Eberechi Eze and the game against Spurs proved that the Gunners need to improve their creativity in order to help Gyokeres settle into his rhythm.
A player with the intelligence and ability of Eze would be perfect to complete Arsenal’s summer window, the question is now whether a deal can be done with Crystal Palace.
