Things aren’t going swimmingly for every player who bid farewell to Arsenal this summer.
Seven players have left Arsenal so far this summer, with further exits expected over the coming week.
Jakub Kiwior is set to leave as FC Porto push for his signature, with as many as five Arsenal players pointed towards the exit door.
Two of the earliest departures were Jorginho and Kieran Tierney, who left at the end of the 2024/25 season to seek new ventures in Brazil and Scotland, respectively.

Kieran Tierney exits the Champions League with Celtic
While Jorginho has become an instant hero at Flamengo, things aren’t going as well for Tierney at his boyhood club.
Arsenal knew Tierney would return to Celtic for months before he actually said farewell, concluding his Premier League career with a goal on his final appearance.
It was a dream move for the Scotsman, whose Arsenal career was derailed by competition and injury, returning to the club of his heart after a six-year stay in N5.
Two months after his permanent exit, however, Tierney suffered a catastrophe in Glasgow.
On Tuesday night, Celtic’s Champions League dream ended before it really began, as Brendan Rodgers’ side were knocked out in the qualifying play-off by Kairat Almaty.
The side from Kazakhstan beat Celtic 3-2 on penalties after a goalless draw, sealing Tierney’s fate in the competition for the season.
It was a devastating result for Celtic, not just in footballing terms but financial ones too, missing out on Europe’s peak competition in incomprehensible circumstances.
How national media rated Tierney vs Kairat Almaty
All credit must go to Kairat Almaty, who, against the odds, knocked Celtic out of the Champions League.
It was a night to forget for the Hoops, and Tierney, who was poor.
Glasgow World gave the former Arsenal defender a 5/10 match rating, a score that The Herald echoed.
The Scotsman also gave the 28-year-old a 5/10 rating, mentioning that his fitness still isn’t at its peak.
Described as ‘incredible’ by Andy Robertson, Tierney can reach far greater heights than he did on Tuesday night in Kazakhstan, as Celtic suffered a nightmare.
