Arsenal are set to return to Premier League action over the weekend when they face off against Wolves at Molineux.

The Gunners have managed wins over the Old Gold in each of their last seven meetings, hopeful of extending that to eight in their hope of a title charge.

The transfer window is also continuing to loom large in the background, with the deadline just over one week away.

Links into and out of Arsenal continue, with an expectation that the club will be busy in the remaining days.

With that said, here’s a look at the biggest stories ahead of the day.

Ben White makes Arsenal injury return

Arsenal star Ben White is nearing a return from a long-term injury that has kept him out of action since November.

The defender underwent surgery on a persistent knee problem, with the hope that it would remove an issue he was struggling with.

After a few months away, it seems as though White is stepping up his return from the injury that has kept him out.

According to Mail Sport, the right-back is now back in training, though in a light capacity, as he gears up to rejoin the squad fully.

Fabrizio Romano reveals Ayden Heaven transfer update

Arsenal star Ayden Heaven faces an uncertain future at the club, with his contract entering the final six months.

Arsenal Insider understands that the Gunners have offered a new deal to the 18-year-old, but it currently remains unsigned.

Transfer links have persisted over a potential move to Eintracht Frankfurt and Barcelona, but a new name has entered the frame.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Premier League rivals Manchester United are “leading the race” to sign Heaven.

It remains to be seen which option the star will choose in the weeks ahead, with plenty of interest in his services.

David Seaman reveals Arsenal transfer plans

Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has revealed what he has heard about the club and their transfer plans this January.

The Gunners are looking to add a forward to their ranks, with both wingers and centre-forwards linked with a switch.

Speaking on Talksport, Seaman said: “There’s a few rumblings now because we’re not where we want to be.

“I know for a fact that they’re trying like mad to get one but whether it will be now or the summer, I don’t know. There’s ones in the pipeline so we will have to wait and see if they get done.”
