Wilshere was full of praise for the young duo but also pointed to the work done at Hale End in producing footballers that are ready to shine for Arteta’s side.

The former England international highlighted the guidance given to young players from the Arsenal academy and how it helps their graduates go on to produce in big matches for the club.
Bukayo Saka is another recent Hale End graduate who has taken the football world by storm and the Gunners are reaping the rewards of investing time, money and effort into the next generation.
Wilshere also congratulated Arsenal on their recent FA Youth Cup victory
Wilshere left Arsenal in October 2024 to further his coaching career as Norwich’s assistant manager but he is still keeping tabs on the North London side.
Wilshere congratulated Adam Birchall on Arsenal’s FA Youth Cup win over Fulham, where the U18 side eventually held on for a 2-1 win.
