Arsenal fans can now focus on matters on the pitch after the conclusion of a hectic summer transfer window.

Andrea Berta made an instant impression in his role as sporting director, bringing in eight new faces to North London.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was the first player through the door to provide competition and cover for David Raya, before Piero Hincapie arrived on deadline day as the last addition.

Mikel Arteta is now under pressure to deliver success with his revamped squad but Jobe Bellingham is impressed by one player Arsenal signed this summer.

Jobe Bellingham thinks Viktor Gyokeres is a ‘really good’ player

Speaking to Bundesliga’s official TikTok account, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Bellingham has been asked to name his dream five-a-side team comprising of players that he played against.

The brother of Jude Bellingham chose Sergio Ramos and Thiago Silva as his defensive picks, before selecting Sheffield United star Gustavo Hamer for some creativity.

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres was then chosen as Bellingham’s striker for the side and was impressed with the Swede from his time in the Championship with Coventry.

Bellingham stated: “For striker. Gyokeres, I played against him in the Championship he was really good. He was at Coventry. I was at Birmingham.”

The Swedish striker has come in for some criticism during his initial spell at the Gunners, however, Jermaine Jenas is confident Gyokeres will be a success.

He produced an assist for his country in their 2-2 draw with Slovenia and Arsenal supporters will be hoping they see a better version of the 27-year-old after the international break.

Arsenal have held interest in Jobe Bellingham transfer

Bellingham himself is a player that the Gunners have shown some interest in during last season before the young midfielder made a switch to Germany.

Arsenal sent scouts to watch Bellingham last season whilst he was helping to guide Sunderland to promotion, alongside fellow young star Chris Rigg.

Mikel Arteta is keeping tabs on Bellingham and how he develops at Dortmund with a future move for the 19-year-old not ruled out.

Bellingham’s athleticism and ability to carry the ball through the lines is something that attracts Arteta and he will now be keen to see how the midfielder performs at the highest level this campaign.
