Former Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has been reflecting on his time at the Emirates.
The Italian was one of several players to leave Arsenal permanently in the summer transfer window, departing at the expiry of his contract.
Jorginho already has admirers at Flamengo, making the move to the Rio de Janeiro club to return to his birth country.
The midfielder played with some of the very best players in Europe, including many at Arsenal, and now, he’s revealed the three stars who impressed him most in N5.

Gabriel Jesus among Jorginho’s top three players at Arsenal
Having played in Mikel Arteta’s squad for two and a half years, Jorginho saw things fans never get to see.
It is therefore a surprise to learn who the 33-year-old rated highest at Arsenal, with the trio he selected rather unexpected.
Speaking to TNT Sports Brazil, Jorginho nominated Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka as the three best players he crossed paths with in the Arsenal squad.
As Saka is regarded as one of the best players in the world, it was unsurprising to see his name included, but very few would’ve predicted Martinelli and Jesus.
That’s not to say that the two players aren’t capable of producing world-class actions on the pitch, but in comparison to other names in the Arsenal squad, they’re not the standouts.
Jorginho will be relieved about Gabriel Jesus’ transfer update
Having seen what happens in training, Jorginho’s top three gives an insight into who the most spellbinding players are behind the scenes at Arsenal.
Jesus is one of the most skilful players Arsenal have, but his quality is not seen often enough, be it through injury, form or competition.

Jorginho highly rates the Brazilian striker, which is why he’ll be so relieved by one transfer narrative that has emerged about the 28-year-old.
Palmeiras wanted to sign Jesus from Arsenal; however, the centre-forward has his mind set on a return to Arteta’s squad.
With his mind on making it at Arsenal rather than returning to Brazil, Jorginho will be grateful that he doesn’t have to have Jesus as an opponent anytime soon.
For now, the former Manchester City star is close to the end of his recovery journey after sustaining an ACL injury, with all eyes on what 2026 could produce.
