Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Mikel Arteta sacking claim, Martin Zubimendi transfer claim and Gabriel Magalhaes injury.
Arsenal’s hunt for silverware this season is officially over as the side were knocked out of the Champions League by PSG in midweek.
With just three Premier League games left, Mikel Arteta will be looking to end the season well before a busy summer.
The next few months are set to include some intense transfer business, with Andrea Berta looking at several new options to bolster the squad.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news ahead of another busy day of action.
Ian Wright makes Mikel Arteta sacking feelings clear
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has backed Mikel Arteta to continue as manager at Arsenal and win something in the years ahead.
It comes after the Gunners were knocked out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage, with further pressure being placed on the manager.
When discussing the future of the team on the Wrighty’s House Podcast, Wright clearly stated his desire for Arteta to continue as the head coach.
“If there’s anybody, any manager that’s out there that I would say ‘you know what, I’m going to roll again with this manager’ because I think we will win something of real significance with him, this is the manager, this is the team, these are the ones.”

Martin Zubimendi hints at Real Sociedad transfer exit
Arsenal transfer target Martin Zubimendi has dropped another hint that he could be set to leave Real Sociedad this summer.
Zubimendi is expected to sign for Arsenal at the end of the season, though there is interest from Real Madrid too.
When reflecting on his time at Real Sociedad so far, the midfielder suggested he had achieved most of what he set out to do at the club.

Speaking to Marca, he said: “We get used to so many good things happening to me, but sometimes you have to slow down, look back, and realise everything you’re experiencing and everything you’ve achieved.
“Luckily, I’ve had the chance to experience many good things with Real Sociedad, many dreams come true: Europa League, Champions League, a title—I couldn’t ask for more.”
Having hinted at the things he has already experienced, it could suggest a transfer is inching even closer.

Gary Lineker outlines Gabriel Magalhaes injury blow impact
Former England striker Gary Lineker has outlined just how key Gabriel Magalhaes has been to Arsenal, with his threat sorely missed from set-pieces.
The defender is currently out injured and will miss the rest of the season, with a lack of set-piece threat following his absence.
Speaking on the latest episode of ‘The Rest is Football’ podcast, Lineker said on Gabriel: “I think Gabriel is a big miss at the back. I mean, he’s a warrior and he’s also such a threat from corners.
“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Arsenal haven’t scored as many corners as of late because he’s the chief threat from those, although they’re a little predictable from corners now.”
