Myles Lewis-Skelly is no different and Wright was in attendance during the 18-year-old’s recent contract extension at the Emirates Stadium.
The pair have formed a wonderful bond and this was shown by how Lewis-Skelly addressed Wright when they met, Lewis-Skelly said: “Uncs, thanks for coming today, man.”
Arsenal have always been proud to be a family club and this exchange highlights the respect between the current players and their former stars.

Alex Iwobi picks Santi Cazorla in building his perfect footballer
Alex Iwobi has picked former teammate Santi Cazorla when building his perfect footballer, speaking to Sky Sports.
The Fulham midfielder chose Cristiano Ronaldo’s right foot and Lionel Messi’s left foot before stating that Cazorla had the ‘GOAT’ control.
Adama Traore made up the rest of his perfect footballer with his strength and pace, whilst Rodrigo Muniz was chosen for heading ability.
Arsenal fans want Cazorla to come back to North London as part of Arteta’s coaching staff following Carlos Cuesta’s departure but the Spaniard is yet to decide on his future.

Arsenal players react to Myles Lewis-Skelly contract
Arsenal players have reacted to Lewis-Skelly’s new contract by being asked by the club’s X account a variety of questions about the 18-year-old.
Gabriel Magalhaes was asked what is it like to play alongside Lewis-Skelly and his reply showed the quality of the Hale End star.
Magalhaes stated: “He makes me feel safe. He’s a great player with incredible qualities.”
Meanwhile, Declan Rice was asked what Lewis-Skelly brings to the squad away from the pitch and Rice simply replied with: “Proper character.”
