Noni Madueke spoke to four Arsenal players ahead of transfer

Noni Madueke is officially an Arsenal player and has revealed that he spoke to four members of Arteta’s squad ahead of his £52m transfer.

Speaking to the club’s official X account, Madueke was asked if he had any friends at the club and the winger named Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka from his time with England.

Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly were also on his list and all four spoke with Madueke prior to his move from Chelsea.

Madueke stated: “Yeah for sure. We were talking about it definitely before it happened and I’m so happy it has gone through.”

Gabriel Jesus posts positive injury update

Gabriel Jesus is nearing a return to Arsenal training after posting a positive update on his injury recovery via his Instagram account.

The Brazilian has been out of action since January after undergoing surgery on an ACL injury but it appears he is close to returning to light training on the grass.

Jesus posted a short video of him putting on running trainers with the caption of: ‘One more week.’

Fans will be so happy for the striker and there are still hopes that he can return to his best one day and add some real value to Arteta’s squad.

Arsenal announce 30-man squad for pre-season tour of Asia

The Gunners have announced a 30-man squad for their upcoming pre-season tour of Asia and there are some exciting new names for supporters to look forward to seeing in action.

New signings Christian Norgaard, Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga have all travelled but the academy duo of Max Dowman and Marli Salmon will really excite fans.

Interestingly, the likes of Reiss Nelson, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Albert Sambi Lokonga also feature on the list despite being linked with moves away from North London.

Players can still travel out to the squad with the club expected to announce the signing of Cristhian Mosquera imminently and a possible Swedish striker…
