Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Rodrygo, Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, Leandro Trossard and Ollie Watkins.
Arsenal take on Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, in what is Mikel Arteta’s side’s final home game of the season.
The Gunners will be eager to strengthen their grip on second place, while a victory over the Magpies will secure Champions League qualification for next season.
With that said, here’s a look at the latest news ahead of another big day.
Arsenal target Rodrygo likely to leave Real Madrid
Arsenal will be in the market for a winger in the summer transfer window, as they look to find an upgrade on either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli.
Rodrygo has emerged as a target for the Gunners, and Arsenal Insider have revealed that the player is keen on leaving Real Madrid.
The North Londoners may have to stump up a fee in the region of £80 million to land the Brazilian, although there is growing hope in N5 that a deal is plausible.

Arteta is understood to be a huge admirer of Rodrygo, who has scored 14 goals and registered nine assists in all competitions.

Mikel Arteta provides triple injury update
Arsenal have a number of injury issues to contend with ahead of their clash with Newcastle.
Declan Rice and Trossard have both been suffering with a knock since the visit to Liverpool last Sunday.
However, Arteta confirmed on Friday in his press conference that both players are in contention to feature against Eddie Howe’s outfit.

Meanwhile, Sunday could see the return of Kai Havertz after his lengthy absence, with the German returning to training this week following his injury.

Arsenal still interested in signing Ollie Watkins
It’s well-documented that Arsenal are in the market for a striker, with Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres the two most commonly linked with a switch to the Emirates.
However, the Gunners could return for Ollie Watkins, whom they attempted to sign in January, this summer.
Arsenal remain keen admirers of Watkins, although they’ll only pursue the England international if Aston Villa’s asking price is less than £40 million.

Watkins has scored 17 goals across all competitions this season.
