What Mikel Arteta has said about Santi Cazorla’s return to Arsenal

Arsenal are on the hunt for a new coach to replace Carlos Cuesta at the club, following his exit to join Parma as their new manager.

The 29-year-old leaves a sizeable gap in the coaching staff, which may have tipped Santi Cazorla to fill.

The former player is currently playing for Real Oviedo, but could make the step into coaching at the end of their season.

As per Sky Sports, Arteta seemingly opened the door to a return last season as he said: There is room for his unbelievable energy and knowledge on his coaching staff.”

Arsenal target Lucien Agoume transfer

Arsenal have been linked with a move for midfielder Lucien Agoume as a potential replacement for Thomas Partey this summer.

The Gunners look set to lose the Ghanaian international, who has been in talks over a possible new contract in recent weeks.

With that in mind, Agoume could be the perfect replacement, after an impressive year with Sevilla.
