As Arsenal prepare for their Premier League clash with Manchester United, there will be some notable absences for both sides.
In a season that is more of a marathon than a sprint, both the Gunners and the Red Devils have been worn down by the war of attrition across all competitions.
It has left both Mikel Arteta and Ruben Amorim scratching around for solutions to help their respective sides win games and fast.

Arsenal currently have five absences for Mikel Arteta to deal with – four of which come in the forward department.
Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka’s torn hamstring injury has seen him out of action since mid-December, with surgery required for a long lay-off for the star.
The winger has ramped things up though, with Saka returning to training in a partial capacity in the past month.
While it’s unclear exactly when he will be back to full fitness, Arteta did confirm that it wouldn’t be before the March international break.
Gabriel Martinelli
Another hamstring injury problem followed for Gabriel Martinelli, who faced at least a month on the sidelines.
The Brazilian is also nearing a return to action, but is yet to be back in training as he looks to make an impact soon.
Arteta confirmed that the winger is unlikely to return before the international break for Arsenal.
Kai Havertz
Another injury blow for Arsenal, Kai Havertz will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury he picked up while in Dubai.
The star was the final remaining centre-forward option for the side, leaving Arteta with less choice when it came to his strikers.
Havertz is set to return at some point in pre-season, which could see him fit enough to start the campaign.
Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus has an ACL injury that has required surgery and will keep him out of action for the rest of the season.
The forward now faces a long road to recovery, which means he won’t be available again until sometime next season.
Takehiro Tomiyasu
Having suffered plenty of injury problems in his time at the Emirates Stadium, Takehiro Tomiyasu is facing another spell on the sidelines.
Knee issues have plagued him as of late, with a round of surgery now set to keep him out for the campaign and pre-season.

The 23-year-old missed the side’s draw with Real Sociedad in the Europa League in midweek but there is a hope he will feature on Sunday.
Harry Maguire
Another late fitness test awaits for Harry Maguire, who also missed out on Manchester United’s tie with Real Sociedad.
Ruben Amorim placed caution on rushing the defender back to action but claimed he could be involved against Arsenal.
Patrick Dorgu
Wing-back Patrick Dorgu will miss out for Manchester United after picking up a red card against Ipswich Town.
The defender will serve a three-match ban, which includes the Arsenal match before he can make his return in the Premier League.
Altay Bayindir
Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is struggling with an undisclosed injury, which has already kept him out for a few weeks and looks set to rule him out against Arsenal.
