Arsenal’s flaws in the striker department could not have been highlighted more in their last two matches.
Arsenal dominated PSG at the Parc Des Princes in the Champions League semi-final before drawing 2-2 with Liverpool despite once again having the better of the match.
Mikel Arteta wants world class strikers this summer at the Emirates Stadium and Andrea Berta now has the task of bringing the Gunners boss his wish.
Viktor Gyokeres is close to joining Arsenal and it seems that another transfer target in Liam Delap has made his decision over his future amid interest from North London.

Liam Delap makes transfer stance clear amid Arsenal interest
Arsenal have been linked with Delap amid their search for a goal scorer however, the Ipswich forward seems to have already made up his mind on his next move.
According to talkSport, Delap is ‘leaning’ towards a move to Manchester United over several Premier League clubs as interest in the 22-year-old heats up.
The report claims that both Man Utd and Chelsea are ready to trigger his £30m release clause but that Old Trafford is his preferred destination.
Delap was a former Manchester City academy graduate before eventually moving to Portman Road after several loan spells in the Championship.
How Liam Delap compares with Viktor Gyokeres
Delap has performed admirably this season for a struggling Ipswich side, he has still managed to find the back of the net on 12 occasions.
Gyokeres has had more success with Sporting Lisbon and is currently on 52 goals for the campaign across all competitions. However, the Gunners will be looking at more than just goals when it comes to acquiring their forward.
| Key statistics this season (per 90 mins) | Gyokeres | Delap |
| Progressive carries | 4.24 | 2.11 |
| Progressive passes received | 10.8 | 3.77 |
| Shots on target % | 50.4% | 44.6% |
| Goal creating actions | 0.96 | 0.25 |
| Aerial duels won | 52.2% | 42.2% |
The Swedish international has proven to be a better target man this season, winning more aerial duels but also receiving more progressive passes.
His accuracy in front of goal is also far higher and the likes of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard will be licking their lips at the prospect of having Gyokeres to feed next campaign.
