Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has given an update on the injury for Bukayo Saka, following the star’s recent fitness concern.
It came in Arsenal’s win over Crystal Palace, where a quick start for the Gunners continued throughout the match.
Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring before the home side levelled through Ismaila Sarr, only to be hit back again by the Brazilian for his second of the match and his fifth in a few days against the Eagles.
From there on, Arsenal pushed on, as goals from Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Declan Rice all found the back of the net.
It was a resounding response to recent criticism of the north London outfit, though Bukayo Saka’s injury came as a fresh worry.

Mikel Arteta gives update on Bukayo Saka injury
Bukayo Saka is a fresh injury concern after the star went down clutching his right hamstring in the clash away at Crystal Palace.
The winger looked distraught as he went to ground, placing his hand over his face in pain, with treatment having him test out the muscle.
The 23-year-old simply wasn’t able to continue, with Leandro Trossard coming on in his place in the first half.
It was something Mikel Arteta was quizzed about after the match, with the Arsenal boss speaking to the press.
He told Sky Sports: “I don’t know but he had pain, so it’s not good news obviously so we have to assess him and wait.”
It remains to be seen exactly what it means for Saka, with only a few days until Arsenal are back in action once again.

FA Cup action then awaits, alongside a North London Derby that the Gunners will be extremely keen to walk out as winners of.
It’s unclear if Saka will be back in action for any of those games, but the importance of Saka emphasises how keen they will be for him to be back out there as soon as possible.
