The Premier League title race looks to have opened back up over the weekend, as Arsenal drew with Sunderland and Man City defeated Liverpool.
Arsenal’s grip on the top spot loosened heading into the international break, as Pep Guardiola’s side closed the gap back down to four points.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 11 | 8 | 2 | 1 | 20 | 5 | 15 | 26 | |
| 2 | 11 | 7 | 1 | 3 | 23 | 8 | 15 | 22 |
A goal and assist for the Gunners’ former academy star, Daniel Ballard, denied the Gunners all three points in the closing stages of the game.
City are now breathing down Arsenal’s neck, but Micah Richards has some words of wisdom for Mikel Arteta going into the two-week break.

Micah Richards thinks Arsenal will be calm about Man City
Micah Richards believes Arsenal should be calm about Man City following their 2-2 draw with Sunderland over the weekend.
Following the weekend’s action, Richards was shocked that Arsenal conceded to Sunderland, ending their run of eight games without giving up a goal.
The former Premier League defender has told the league leaders to remain calm during the break and get ready to respond against Spurs.
Richards told The Rest Is Football: “If I were an Arsenal fan, there’s no panic. There’s no panic. And I think everyone around the club, there’s no panic.
“You drop points at Sunderland against a team that’s in form. It’s no big deal. You just have to go and win the next one.”
Meanwhile, Danny Murphy thinks Liverpool are out of the title race, as Arne Slot’s team have now fallen eight points adrift of the Gunners.
Once again, Guardiola and City look to be Arteta’s biggest challenger in the race for the Premier League crown, with Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku spearheading their charge.
Arsenal will get four big injury boosts against Tottenham
Arteta will be delighted to have several players coming back from injury just in time for the North London derby.
The Gunners face their bitter rivals on Sunday, November 23, and could have as many as six players back for the clash at the Emirates Stadium.
| Player | Return date |
| Gabriel Jesus | 3/12 |

| Noni Madueke | 23/11 |
| Martin Odegaard | 23/11 |
| Gabriel Martinelli | 23/11 |

Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz are all in contention to return for the derby.
Gabriel Jesus is close to returning for Arsenal, but the game against Spurs could arrive just too soon for the striker.
