Raheem Sterling’s Arsenal loan exit decision
In the first half of the season so far, Raheem Sterling has struggled for game time at Arsenal since making the loan switch from Chelsea.
With just four starts to his name under Mikel Arteta so far across all competitions, the winger is still looking to stamp his mark at the Emirates Stadium.
However, as the January transfer window approaches, the possibility of an early end to his loan spell has been touted.

According to the Standard though, Sterling has no intention of ending his loan at Arsenal, while Arteta is planning with the forward in mind.
It remains to be seen just how much more time the 30-year-old will be afforded in the second half of the season.

Marcus Rashford to Arsenal transfer latest
Arsenal have been rumoured with a possible transfer switch for Marcus Rashford, with the forward facing an uncertain future at Manchester United.
The 27-year-old was left out of the recent Manchester derby clash, putting further doubt on a possible exit.
Speaking about a potential transfer, Fabrizio Romano said on a deal: “For Marcus Rashford, it’s not the first time that we’ve seen this kind of situation.
“So basically, what’s going on is that Manchester United will talk to the player and let’s see what kind of situation there will be around Marcus Rashford.
“In recent weeks we’ve had many links with an exit of Marcus Rashford, but what we have to say today is Man United have not entertained any negotiations so they didn’t receive any concrete bid for Marcus Rashford.
“January is in two weeks, so at the moment, still nothing concrete for the January transfer window.”

Alan Shearer on Liverpool and Arsenal depth
With the Premier League title challenge fizzling away for Arsenal, there have been some clear issues for Mikel Arteta to question.
One of them surrounds squad depth, something Alan Shearer has pointed out that Liverpool clearly have in their race at the top.

Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, the former striker said: “It was a really good point for Liverpool, it just shows that the strength they’ve got and the players they’re able to bring in and it didn’t really affect them,” the pundit said.
“They would’ve absolutely taken that in the circumstances, I think it actually sent a message out.”
