Mikel Arteta was a happy man after Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-1, but he still spotted a few flaws in his side’s display.
The Gunners were incredible all game in the North London Derby. They were all over Spurs from the first whistle and were the deserved winners.
Every Arsenal fan was over the moon after the win, and so was Arteta. But the perfectionist in him still saw two issues.
What was Arsenal’s best goal against Tottenham?
What made Mikel Arteta ‘upset’ after Arsenal vs Tottenham?
Arsenal were very dominant against Tottenham on Sunday.
The Gunners were superior in all phases of the game and scored four lovely goals – one from Leandro Trossard and three from Eberechi Eze.
It was a fine day at the office for Arteta, whose side won on the same weekend in which Liverpool and Manchester City both dropped points.
Yet, the Arsenal boss was not completely happy for two reasons.

The obvious one is because his side conceded a goal that should’ve been avoided. Martin Zubimendi lost the ball in a dangerous position, and Richarlison caught David Raya off his line to score.
The other reason, funnily enough, is that Arsenal didn’t score a goal from a set-piece.
Arteta said in his press conference, as per the club’s official website: “For me, it’s the same value; it doesn’t change. Everything is part of the game, and in relation to the position we play, how we defend, and the options that we have, we have to be very efficient in all departments.
“I’m upset that we didn’t score on a set piece. I want to score on a set piece as well. I’m upset that we conceded a goal. So it’s being at our best in everything that we do, that’s the aim.”

Arsenal’s set-pieces could hurt Bayern Munich
The North London Derby is done, and the focus has shifted to the game against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The Gunners have suffered a few painful defeats against the Bundesliga giants over the years, but they could finally get their revenge.
Bayern conceded two sloppy set-piece goals in their last game against Freiburg. Mistakes like that against Nicolas Jover’s Arsenal will cost them dearly.
That is one of the reasons why Bayern are worried about Arsenal going into the clash on Wednesday night.
