Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have established themselves in the Arsenal first team this season.
However, this talented teenage duo are not the only young guns on the Arsenal books who look set for a bright future.
Mikel Arteta has shown that he is willing to invest his faith in youth, and that if a player is good enough then he will consider them to be old enough. Therefore, fans of the North London club should expect the Spanish coach to continue giving opportunities to promising youth prospects when he can.
There are a number of such players in the Hale End academy system who will hope that after Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have made the step up that 2025 will be their year to shine on the big stage.

Ayden Heaven
Ayden Heaven is a boyhood Arsenal fan who has been on the books at the Emirates Stadium since 2019. The 18-year-old centre-back has consistently impressed on the pitch for the youth sides since his arrival at the club.
Against Preston North End in the EFL Cup earlier this season, Arteta handed Heaven his senior debut. However, the England under-19 international faces a mountainous task in breaking into the first team on a regular basis.
Centre-back is not a position where mistakes can afford to be made, and with the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba so established, it is hard to see how the youngster might make an impact.
Heaven has been linked with an Arsenal exit, but the club ought to secure him a loan departure at some point this year to give him the chance of playing regular first team football.

Josh Nichols
Another 18-year-old defender to have made his senior debut this season, Josh Nichols was even afforded a start as Arsenal took on Bolton Wanderers in the EFL Cup.
The young right-back has been at Arsenal since the age of eight, and has huge potential. With Ben White sidelined having undergone surgery, and Jurrien Timber required to fill in at left-back occasionally, Nichols is well-placed to be called upon again at some stage in 2025.
Having seen Lewis-Skelly establish himself at left-back, Nichols needs to study how his fellow teenager has made the step up and set himself the task of emulating his Hale End teammate.

Max Dowman
Having turned 15-years-old just yesterday, on New Year’s Eve, Max Dowman is comfortably the youngest player on this list. However, he is perhaps also the most exciting prospect within the Hale End system.
Dowman has broken an Arsenal record set by Nwaneri, by recently becoming the youngest player to ever feature for the club’s under-21s side.
Whilst a senior debut for the youthful midfielder in 2025 is perhaps unlikely, Arteta did give Nwaneri his first first team minutes as a 15-year-old.
What’s more, the Gunners will be keen to convince Dowman that a pathway exists for him at the club, and affording him a debut could send an important message about his future and the plan that is in place for him.
