Arsenal have been told which striker would be the perfect fit for them but Mikel Arteta will have to roll the dice on an alternative target.
Arsenal need a new striker this summer.
Mikel Arteta is clearly aware of this, and the Gunners have been linked with a host of potential acquisitions in this part of the pitch.
Arsenal have already failed to sign Benjamin Sesko, and still look no closer to bringing a new goalscorer to the Emirates Stadium with the start of the Premier League campaign fast approaching.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Dominic Solanke. On top of that, Arsenal are still in the race for Victor Osimhen. Neither Bournemouth or Napoli, respectively, will let their talismanic forwards go cheaply, though, and in both cases the Gunners would face competition from other interested suitors.
In any case, Arteta has now been told which striker would solve his problem.

Arsenal told Alexander Isak is the striker they need
According to Arsenal fan and former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Alexander Isak is the forward “most suited” to the Gunners, as quoted by talkSPORT.
Arsenal have certainly been interested in Isak in the past. It’s easy to see why Arteta admires the Sweden international, too. Last season, in 40 appearances across all competitions for Newcastle United, the 24-year-old racked up an impressive return of 25 goals and 2 assists.
What’s more, Isak has all the qualities required to shine under Arteta at the Emirates Stadium. He is technically gifted, a clinical finisher, and a robust physical presence. He has the ability to hold up the ball, bring his teammates into play, and apply the finishing touch to moves.
Isak also boasts the versatility that Arteta covets, as he can operate comfortably on the flanks as well as leading the line.
However, as reported by iNews, Newcastle are under no pressure to sell Isak for FFP reasons this summer, and the player himself is committed to the Magpies. As such, Arteta will surely have to give up on Isak and pivot to an alternative target.
Arsenal must gamble on Viktor Gyokeres transfer
Arsenal have also been linked with Viktor Gyokeres this summer, who is available in an £85 million deal.
The Sporting striker shares many qualities with his compatriot, Isak. Other than being able to play on the wings, he would be able to tick all the boxes that Arteta is looking for in a striker.
Gyokeres was also in blistering form last season, as he recorded 43 goals and 15 assists across all competitions, as he fired the Portuguese club to a title triumph. If he could translate anything like that kind of form to North London then he could have similar impact for Arsenal, allowing them to finally leapfrog Manchester City in the title race.
However, as Gyokeres is yet to prove that he can make such an impact in the Premier League, signing him for such a fee would represent a real risk. Now, though, is the time for Arsenal to be bold.
