Arsenal are finally springing into action in the transfer window.
Arsenal have agreed terms with Christian Norgaard over a transfer from Premier League rivals Brentford as Andrea Berta moves swiftly to replace Thomas Partey in midfield.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is finalising his Arsenal move as he joins fellow Spaniard Martin Zubimendi as imminent arrivals at the Emirates Stadium.
Whilst there is yet to be any breakthrough in talks for Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres, manager Mikel Arteta wants another defender and Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera is the man in the Gunners’ sights.

Cristhian Mosquera transfer surely ends Arsenal interest in Jorrel Hato
Arsenal are interested in Jorrel Hato from Ajax in their search for defensive cover and the sudden change in target to Mosquera would represent more good news for Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Lewis-Skelly was delighted to sign a new contract at the Gunners and expressed his love for the club upon signing a new five-year deal.

Hato is a left-sided defender who can play at both centre back and left back, he is highly-regarded around Europe and would have given Lewis-Skelly real competition for his place in the side.
Riccardo Calafiori is already pushing the Hale End youngster and whilst competition and depth is good, Lewis-Skelly will be sleeping a little easier knowing there is not another left-sided player to compete with.
Cristhian Mosquera signing spells bad news for Jakub Kiwior
One Arsenal player that will not enjoy hearing of news of Mosquera is Jakub Kiwior as the Polish international finds yet another central defender to compete with.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have formed a formidable partnership at the Gunners and despite some excellent performances at the end of the season, Kiwior is currently seen as third choice.
| Jakub Kiwior’s Arsenal record last season | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Kiwior | 30 | 1 | 2 |
Mosquera would be bad news for Kiwior as the 20-year-old would provide another obstacle between him and the first-team football that he desires and somewhat deserves.
Arsenal will be looking to fight on all four trophy fronts next season and there will be opportunities to play however, Kiwior is wanted by AC Milan and may see this defensive signing as the last straw in North London.
