Arsenal are actively looking for new players for the present as well as the future.
The Gunners have challenged for the Premier League title in each of the last two seasons. Despite the gap in points, they are expected to push Liverpool this campaign as well.
Arsenal currently need a prolific striker and a new winger. Another midfielder would help too – it looks like Martin Zubimendi will join the Gunners to fill that void.
That leaves the left side of Arsenal’s defence, where several players could leave the club in the next six months. Mikel Arteta has now found a player who would fit his system perfectly.
Arsenal want to sign Valencia wonderkid Yarek Gasiorowski
Yarek Gasiorowski is one of the most talented young players in Spain.
The central defender, who turned 20 earlier in January, has played 31 games for Valencia’s senior side already, and his performances have been really impressive.
Arsenal Insider exclusively revealed in November last year that Arsenal are keeping an eye on Gasiorowski.
Now, Football Transfers have claimed that the Gunners are battling the likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan to sign him.
Valencia have included a €60 million (£50.5m) release clause in Gasiorowski’s contract which expires in the summer, but the Spanish club have the option to extend that by two more years once he plays 45 minutes or more in 20 senior games.
Arsenal’s interest is understandable as Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney could all leave the club in the next six months.
Gasiorowski would come in as a backup to Gabriel Magalhaes at left-centre-half if Arsenal manage to beat Real Madrid and the others for his signature.

Who is Yarek Gasiorowski and what’s his style of play?
Gasiorowski is a 20-year-old central defender who has represented Spain’s U19s side on 23 occasions.
He came through the ranks at Valencia’s academy before making his senior debut for the club in July 2023 in a La Liga game against Mallorca.
Football Transfers describes Arsenal target Gasiorowski as a ‘dominant, elegant and technically adept’ defender who is popular for his ‘composure, intelligent positioning and ability to break up opposition attacks’.
The youngster has also been described as a ‘long-throw specialist’, which is a trait that nobody really possesses at Arsenal right now.
We’re sure Nicolas Jover will have a few plans for Gasiorowski’s long throws if Arteta brings him to Arsenal in the summer.
