One of Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard could leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window as part of a forward line reshuffle, Arsenal Insider understands.
It comes as the Gunners are preparing for a huge few months ahead when it comes to the shape of their squad.
Changes behind the scenes are following at the Emirates Stadium, with Andrea Berta closing in as the next Arsenal sporting director.
Once that decision has been made and announced, the work will start on which players come in and out of Mikel Arteta’s team.
While a centre-forward is on the radar, so too is a winger who could help transform the rest of the team as a key addition.
If that move goes through, then it could be as part of a few exits in the forward line, with Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli facing uncertain futures at Arsenal.

Arsenal’s forward line is set for some adjusting in the summer transfer window, with the centre-forward being a main priority.
There are, however, questions over the left flank, with both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli facing contract decisions.
If a winger comes in to compete on that side, then it could well force an exit for one of the two in the months ahead.
Speaking to Arsenal Insider about the situation, TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey said: “Arsenal are going to have a busy summer. We know they’re going to sign a centre-forward, we know they’re going to sign a central midfielder or two.
“When it comes to the front six or seven, they know they need to upgrade which brings us to the left-hand side.
“With Trossard and Martinelli, they’ve had middling seasons at best and there are options out there for both of them.
“The Saudi Pro League likes them both. I don’t see a world in which they let both go but I think there’s a very good chance one of them goes.
“At this moment, I wouldn’t like to say which one. Martinelli is younger but he does also have a bigger price tag so maybe he can move for more.
“Trossard is a player who I believe that as it stands right now, Arteta trusts slightly more than Martinelli but do you hand him a new contract?
“I don’t think it’s definitive which one of them stays but I think one of them will go.”
It leaves a big decision for Arsenal to pick which of their star players could stay and could leave in the coming months.

As for Gabriel Martinelli’s contract, he is nearing the final two years, which gives him the edge in terms of time left.
