Arsenal have to get it right in the transfer market this summer.

Another trophyless campaign has piled the pressure on Mikel Arteta to deliver silverware next season with supporters desperate for a first Premier League title since 2004.

Thierry Henry has questioned Arteta for his inability to deliver success so far and it now falls on Andrea Berta to find the right recruitment for the Gunners.

Berta has held talks with Benjamin Sesko as he chases a centre forward and has also been linked with Rodrygo of Real Madrid. However, fans are not happy with another transfer target that reports claim ‘talks’ have been held with.

Arsenal fans react to Leroy Sane ‘enquiries’

As per the Telegraph, Arsenal have made enquiries into the signing of Leroy Sane as his contract is set to expire at Bayern Munich.

Fans have taken to X to react to the news and it is clear that they believe Berta should be steering clear of the German winger, one fan wrote: “This is my last straw.”

Another Arsenal fan wrote: “I speak for every Arsenal fan when I say Leroy Sane to Arsenal is a NO.”

One supporter was in disbelief at the sudden change in quality of transfer target after recent links with Rodrygo, they wrote: “How did we go from Rodrygo to Leroy Sane in a matter of days?”

Sane would be an underwhelming signing if he was the only winger to arrive at the Emirates Stadium this summer however, alongside another talent such as Rodrygo or Nico Williams and it could prove to be a shrewd move.

The German has worked with Arteta at Manchester City before and knows the Premier League well following his time under Pep Guardiola.

Harry Kane wants Sane to stay at Bayern Munich but there has been no breakthrough in contract talks and it is believed that the winger would be interested in a move to North London.

He cannot be the main signing in wide areas this summer but if the Gunners can lure him in alongside another world-class talent, it would certainly add experience and a winning mentality to the squad.
