Arsenal fans are not happy with Mikel Arteta over his latest transfer decision.

Andrea Berta has been busy this week and Noni Madueke is set for a medical at Arsenal after a £52m deal was agreed with Chelsea.

The Gunners are now intent on balancing the books and are looking to sell up to five first-team stars in order to raise money for further signings.

Leandro Trossard is wanted by Bayern Munich and features on the list alongside Oleksandr Zinchenko. However, fans are not happy with plans to sell a player who was ‘exceptional’ last season.

Jakub Kiwior no longer in Mikel Arteta’s plans at Arsenal

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Polish defender Jakub Kiwior is no longer in Mikel Arteta’s plans at Arsenal and could leave the club this summer.

Arteta praised the ‘exceptional’ Kiwior last season for his performances in replacing the injured Gabriel Magalhaes towards the end of the season.

However, with the club trying to sign Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia, it seems that Kiwior is surplus to requirements in North London and could command a fee that would boost the club’s transfer budget.

The Gunners will be hoping to get around £30m for the 25-year-old having proven his ability in both the Premier League and Champions League.

Arsenal fans want Jakub Kiwior to stay

Arsenal fans recognised Kiwior’s brilliance last season and are not impressed with the decision to allow the Polish defender to leave the club.

Winning trophies requires a strong squad and Kiwior would provide an excellent option to rotate and provide quality in defensive areas.

Supporters have taken to X to voice their displeasure at the club’s latest transfer decision, one fan wrote: “Letting go of Kiwior to sign Mosquera would be a senseless piece of business.”

Another Gooner stated: “If this is true then I really don’t know what Kiwior has done wrong. Gave as good as he could give when filling in for the injured Gabriel towards end of last season. We need to concentrate on the attacking areas.”

One fan is in disbelief that the club are entertaining his sale after showing such promise, they wrote: “Kiwior has done excellent when called upon !! As soon as the player settles in the system to sell him would be a bad move.”

After cancelling the contract of Takehiro Tomiyasu, it would be a surprise if the Gunners were to allow Kiwior to leave the club, especially with their injury record last campaign.
