Arsenal know they face a huge summer in their quest to finally bring a major trophy to the Emirates Stadium.
Since arriving at the Emirates Stadium in 2006, the Gunners have failed to win a Premier League title and have never won the Champions League in their history.
Mikel Arteta is pressing ahead with his summer plans to improve his squad, Arsenal have held ‘concrete talks’ with Joshua Kimmich.
The Gunners are interested in Jonathan David too as well as continuing to hold an interest in both Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko. It now seems another forward-thinking player is on the radar of Arteta.

Arsenal interested in signing Kingsley Coman
According to SPORTBILD in Germany, Arsenal are interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman in the summer transfer window.
The German side are willing to sell Coman and have lowered their asking price from €70m to around the €35m mark for the French international.
With Arteta looking to bolster his attacking options, Coman’s experience and pedigree has caught the eye of the Arsenal manager and a deal could be struck between the two clubs.
As per FourFourTwo, Coman was described as a player with ‘immense potential’ by his national team coach Didier Deschamps and has delivered on that tag with an incredible haul of trophies so far.
Coman’s contract runs until 2027 but the winger has been plagued by injury issues in recent years, including a medial ligament tear that kept him out for over two months back in 2024.
Arsenal could find better options than Coman
Whilst Coman is a Champions League winner and has won league titles in three different countries, Arsenal should steer clear of signing the 28-year-old winger.
He hasn’t been a regular starter for Vincent Kompany’s Bayern side this season having made 22 appearances in the league with four goals and four assists to his name.

Arsenal are prepared to swoop for Nico Williams and the Spaniard would provide a much better option than Coman given his age and consistency in form and fitness.
The Gunners have also held interest in Bryan Mbeumo and again his Premier League experience and youthfulness would be worth gambling on over the likes of Coman.
