The prospect of him lining up alongside Bukayo Saka in Arsenal’s front three is almost too good to contemplate.
Real Madrid will of course not want to lose him for free, but they will still command a hefty fee.
Los Blancos signed Eden Hazard for £130million in 2019 when the Belgian similarly had one year left on his deal. They will want more than that for Vinicius.

Interestingly, Guimaraes made his feelings clear on what he thinks of Vinicius Jr after Brazil’s 2-1 win over Colombia in March 2025.
He posted a selfie of the two from the changing rooms post-match, with a caption that translates to “best player in the world”.
The two featured together at the World Cup and were comfortably Brazil’s best two players in what was otherwise a disappointing campaign.
If Andrea Berta can actually somehow bring both of these to Arsenal this summer, they would unite with international teammates Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli.
Jesus is up for sale, however, and a left-winger signing like Vinicius would certainly seal Martinelli’s departure, who Arsenal are already open to selling.
