Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney could leave the club this month amid reports of a return to Celtic.
Struggles with injury and a change in tactics have tainted Tierney’s time at Arsenal, with the left-back ready to move on to his next adventure.
Tierney has been linked to Celtic, his boyhood club whom he joined the Gunners from in 2019.
Celtic want to get a deal for Tierney over the line promptly, with the Scotsman’s days in N5 appearing to be numbered.

Brendan Rodgers breaks silence on Kieran Tierney transfer links
Mikel Arteta is an admirer of the defender however, his talents simply do not fit the way that the Arsenal manager wants to set up his team.
Such resulted in the 27-year-old joining Real Sociedad on loan for the 2023/24 campaign, before returning to north London in the summer.
Tierney asked to leave Arsenal previously due to his struggles and now, a transfer looks likely for the Scotland international, who could return to Celtic.
As speculation heats up, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was asked his stance on the January transfer window, to which he insisted he is ‘100% confident’ the club will recruit where needed.
“Just strengthen in general, we know what we have to do and I’m 100% confident that we’ll do everything to support that. We have things that we want to do,” he told BBC.
The former Liverpool boss was then quizzed about Tierney specifically, to which his response was clear.
“Well, he’s an Arsenal player so clearly I won’t speak about it.”
Rodgers is keeping his cards close to his chest, as expected as the details are ironed out, although, that doesn’t change the likelihood that Tierney’s Arsenal career will end this month.
Tierney’s Arsenal career in numbers
When Tierney signed, Arsenal were aware of the bright talent they were getting, with the 27-year-old’s standards never dropping over his time at the Emirates.
It makes the situation all the more painful, as Tierney is a well-loved figure at the club among fans and the squad but Arteta’s demands do not suit the left-back’s style.

The Arsenal boss’ wants are only a fraction of the reason that Tierney will leave the Gunners in the near future, with injury issues also plaguing his career in the Premier League.
With a move to his boyhood club possibly on the horizon, fans will surely be delighted for the player, who always gave his all for Arsenal.
